Standing below the oak,
One by the pond,
One in the sweater shorts,
Others, just strolling along.
Half unrequited lovers,
Exposing their hearts,
With letters written on the wall.
Some trying hard,
Some only subtle.
Half unwanted lovers,
Trying to get to talk,
Or maybe a quick call,
Some lay at the doorstep,
Some by the paper ball.
Half un-done lovers,
Somewhere in the dark corners
Of the world,
Or sometimes, by the grand hall,
Simply dancing to sweet songs.
Half unrecorded lovers,
Just waiting for their call,
Not knowing how to get along,
Or maybe the ones actually meant for,
Lost and never heard of…
